Aromatherapy: Nature's Medicine
Common everyday aches and pains such as headaches, colds, bruises, cuts, burns, skin irritations, etc. can be effectively treated with essential oils as opposed to drugs from a pharmacy. By using essential oils not only are you using natural products from the Earth, but these products have no harmful side effects, are extremely pleasant to work with and work just as good if not better than chemicals! Below is a quick reference list of some everyday ailments and the essential oils you can use to combat them. For recipes that are intended as oil blends for massage you can use any type of vegetable oil you wish. As you are a beginner in the world of Aromatherapy, we recommend an unscented blend of different base oils from your local bath or body store.
